Lot of 5 old Rooster and Hen cups in Opaque Sarreguemines earthenware, decorative

This lovely set of 5 antique cups is made of sarreguemines earthenware. These coffee cups come with their saucers. They are decorated with polychrome farmyard scenes on an ivory background: hens and roosters pecking, surrounded by butterflies and watched by a bird perched on a branch. With a delicate shape called "bamboo", the earthenware is molded in the shape of bamboo on the handles. These cups are signed with the brand with the brown coat of arms "opaque de sarreguemines" and the letters "pk". They date from the sarreguemines production period between 1875 and 1900. In good overall condition, they show signs of use: I note a chip on one cup, as well as underglaze stains and cracks. Dimensions: cup 8.5 X 6 cm high and saucer lens 13.5 cm in diameter.
