Conran Shop "cochin" table from 2008

Superb round table from conran shop bought in 2008 in paris. Model "cochin". Made in india, it is very stable and robust. Wooden legs are easily removable. The wooden top is covered with lacquered metal plates cut and nailed together, drawing a nice propeller-shaped pattern. The tray is reminiscent of the old zinc plates of the old parisian bistro counters. Allowing to stick to 4, it is both very decorative and practical. In excellent condition, it has always been well maintained. The tray has some light stripes on the surface and a small scratch a little more visible (see photo). There are stains and small imperfections related to the manufacture of this table that was made in an artisanal way. The tray has always been protected by a tablecloth and it has never received any liquid. No accidents on the feet and foot fastening systems. A superb piece impossible to find today! A "conran shop" plate is nailed under the tray. The feet will be dismantled to facilitate delivery. Shop price in 2008: 870€. Height: 75 cm. Tray diameter: 99.5 cm. Tray thickness: 2 cm.
