pair of Art Deco Pelican bird bookends

Very beautiful art deco bookends representing stylized pelicans in bronze patinated metal on a wooden base - totally in the style of franjou. Very good condition, look at the photos, some minimal scratches. This is not a new item. The black bead eyes are not original in my opinion. The felt underneath, which was too damaged, was replaced with black felt. Rare model. Height: 16 cm depth: 10 cm base width: 8 cm weight of the pair: 900 grams.
