Imposing wall-mounted dresser of very fine craftsmanship

Imposing wall-mounted dresser entirely made of solid oak (except for the back, which is oak plywood) of very fine craftsmanship. It comes from a bourgeois residence in val-de-marne and was custom-made by a cabinetmaker. The workmanship is perfect, the wood is of fine quality, and the result is very impressive. It offers 3 shelves decorated with small openwork balconies and cleverly arranged to hold the plates on display (this is the primary function of this furniture, but they can easily be diverted). There is a solid wood strip at the bottom of each shelf to hold the plates stuck against the bottom if necessary. The shelves protrude from the sides, thus forming small shelves as if suspended in the void. The uprights are also beautifully molded, and describe elegant curves. Finally, a rockery punctuates the whole, decorated with two sculpted floral serpents. It is a good size and weighs its weight. But there are two hooks already attached to hang it on the wall. No defects to report apart from two points that have been dug out in the middle of each shelf at the back, probably to accommodate plates that are taller than the others. But this has no visual or structural impact. W: 156.5 cm. D: 26.5 cm. H: 123 cm. Usable space of a shelf: 99 X 27 X 17 cm.
