2 yellow 'Oase' lounge chairs with armrests by Wim Rietveld for Ahrend de Circel

The oase lounge chair was designed by wim rietveld for ahrend de cirkel in 1958, and gained the signe d'or price in 1959. A beautiful piece of dutch design! This chair is newly upholstered in a beautiful yellow kvadrat fabric (tonus 4, color 440) and has new foam. We have 2nd chair available in the same yellow kvadrat fabric. Both slightly different from each other. The 2nd chair does have some damages to the black metal frame. Some damage to the armrests at both chairs. Usually these chairs have a leather look lacquer to the black metal back, 1 chair has a smooth black metal back with a small ahrend de cirkel stamp. Seat height: 40 cm. Both chairs are priced different, according to their condition.
