Ideal for a winter garden/veranda/covered terrace General condition and defects: The set is in very good condition - Light wear consistent with age and use. The cushion covers have been redone by a seamstress and are removable for washing. The glass of the coffee table has 2 chips, one large and one small, both are on the same side. The glass is not fixed, so the chips can be hidden by turning it over. The other 2 photos of defects are also on the table, at the level of a foot wear of the rattan and the glass hoop missing broken rattan. The designer: Manufacturer of high-end garden, terrace and lounge furniture in rattan, bamboo and raffia rope. In the 40s and 50s, the designer couple Adrien Audoux and Frida Minnet offered original and modern furniture made from natural materials for the wealthy clientele of the Riviera (Côte d'Azur). Initially based in Cannes in 1929, they moved to Golfe-Juan (Alpes Maritimes) in 1942. The company closed permanently in 1990. An oblong plaque indicating the brand is fixed to the crosspieces of the seats or tables. Its presence gives value to the furniture. It is important to remember to keep them away from water so as not to damage the natural fibers.
