The pirouett lamp is a range of french art deco lighting designed by mr jean chavanis in lyon in 1929. This model, called pirouett france (with the hollow inscription "pirouett france" on the base) or fm, was produced later than the art deco model of the 1930s, but it retains the same characteristic design of pirouett lamps. The sketch shown in the last photo is from the patent applied for in 1940. This patent mainly concerns the new, improved articulation and wire guide sheath (metal spring). The reflector has already been patented since 1929. The base is weighted with cast iron for perfect stability. It is adjustable in height and can be swiveled. Model in very good condition. Electricity recently redone.
