Footrest stool made of old wood

The small stool is in very good condition, the assemblies are solid. It is an object of art-populaire, of artisanal manufacture, probably made by some skilled handyman, who will have used old woods of recovery, planks of fruit wood dating from the late nineteenth century. In the photos, we can see that the wood has played, over time, and that the old wooden planks used are a little veiled, which has the effect of giving this delicious little stool a rather unique wobbly look! The four little feet do not rest on the ground at the same time... It is ideal to use as a display for an object or a sculpture, in a cabinet of curiosities, or on a console, for example... Beautiful old patina that has been enriched by a natural beeswax wax. For maintenance, it will be enough to rub it from time to time with a soft cloth. It dates from the first half of the twentieth century.
