Speckled Tamegroute Plate

Our partners handcraft these pieces of pottery in southern morocco. These natural hues, ranging from olive glass to gray, are the primary characteristic of tamegroute pottery. This coloring is the result of an ancestral technique specific to each potter, an alloy of several metals, notably manganese and copper oxide, and perfect mastery of the kiln temperature. Like all the finest handcrafted pieces, each piece of pottery is different, with its own particularities and character. You won't find two identical pieces, whether in size, color, or shape. And for us, this is a guarantee of quality craftsmanship and, for you, proof of its splendor! We advise against putting your pottery in the dishwasher or microwave.
