Mahogany and bronze coffee table, 1950s

Tripod coffee table in mahogany veneer and bronze leg, 1950s. The circular mahogany top is decorated with a radiant frieze, and rests on three tapered legs in black lacquered bronze, screwed to the top. An elegant piece that plays on contrasts of materials and evokes the refined spirit of 1950s design, notably the work of Jean Royère. Very good general condition.
