Fernand Elchinger ceramic vase - 1950s
€190 €220
Description
Elchinger's black and yellow ceramic handle vase on the foot. Height: 23 cm, width 14 cm. Depth: mud neck 9 cm; foot of vase 6.5 cm. I like the elegance of this pitcher vase with geometric decorations and the ceramist's use of this sunny yellow that brings a real touch of peps to the object. Elchinger ceramics is a family-owned ceramics factory based in soufflenheim, alsace, which operates from 1834 to 2016. Driven by the passion for vallauris ceramics, the alsatian factory became well known for its productions from the 1950s and 1960s. These works, vases and pitchers with clean shapes, stood out from the exuberant achievements of the workshops of the south. Fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/c%c3%a9ramiques_elchinger.
