Claire bataille (born in 1940) and paul ibens (born in 1939) graduated at the same time from the national higher institute of architecture and urbanism in antwerp. Since 1968, they have been working together in their own design company. They not only design furniture, lighting and glassware, but they also furnish and furnish offices, shops, restaurants and homes. Their decorations are harmonious and architectural, their furniture simple and functional, reduced to the essentials. They like a certain austerity of decoration, with pure and traditional materials, white and gray. They are absolute masters of their craft.
