Carrara marble and glass library - 1970

Three-level low bookcase with white veined grey carrara marble studs supporting the transparent glass shelves. This shelf bookcase made in the 1970s is to be compared to the work of alessandro mendini (1931-2019), italian architect and designer, actor of radical design in italy. In 1970-80 he created the tempietto library, a modular shelf in carrara marble and glass tops, published by up group, a manufacturer and operator of marble in italy.
