Decorated with dragons and flowers by raffaellesco inspired by the elegant 16th century renaissance arabesque frescoes by raphael. Signature ceramics. In perfect condition. Dimensions: 24x13x13cm the stylized dragon in the central motif is believed to have been first painted by raphael, a master painter and architect of the italian high renaissance. Raffaellesco is a benevolent deity who grants good luck and favorable winds to sea merchants, hence the gusts of wind that escape from the dragon's mouth.
