Semi pendant light - Bonderup & Thorup

Semi pendant lamp designed in 1968, the product of the creative collaboration between two architecture students, claus bonderup and torsten thorup. They wanted to create a pendant lamp that could incorporate clean lines and geometric form. Their design was submitted to a competition at the royal danish academy of fine arts in architecture and won first prize. Semi is a unique pendant lamp, with its distinctive trumpet shape, enamelled metal shade, lightness of form and unique, timeless design, it has become a best-seller in danish design, gaining worldwide recognition and iconic status. This one has a raise and lower feature that allows you to adjust it as close to your table as the danes are wont to do. Wear and tear from age and use.
