Swedish mid century teak rolltop bureau by egon ostergaard manufactured by smi sweden in the 1970's. This distinctive cylinder bureau features a roll down lid with a fully fitted interior with three small drawers and a pull out writing surface giving plenty of working space. Along with a quirky pull out writing surface, the shapely roll top has an inlaid opposing grain teak design to it. When the roll top is opened it reveals a cute selection of small drawers and pigeon holes. The three main drawers feature sculpted wooden handles. The attractive cylinder lid runs very smoothly and the extending work surface extends as it was designed and all the drawers run very smoothly.
