Concubine chair - China - Late 19th century - Ming style

We are selling a small ming style lacquered wooden chair, called a "concubine chair". This chair comes from china, it is old and dates from the end of the 19th century/beginning of the 20th century. It is in reddish brown tones with touches of gold. Its belt and back are openwork, so the back is slightly curved. This chair with a strong personality can be used in an entrance hall, at the end of a sofa or as a valet in a bedroom. It is in good condition, with small traces of wear related to its age and a pretty patina polished by the years. It will give an exotic breath of asia to your decoration.
