Description
Suite of three ceramic bowls from Sèvres workshop Keramos circa 1950 (signed) in free form presenting a black and pink enameled decoration. Signature incised on the base of each piece, very good general condition. The “keramos” company, a small ceramics company with six to eight employees, was located in Sèvres, not far from the famous factory. Created by René Henon, a trained architect from the Ardennes who had established a first workshop in Montrouge, it existed in the 1950s and 1960s. The company was active and even worked on exports. She produced small objects in glazed earthenware, flowerpots, lamp bases. His productions were purchased by the artist Colette Gueguen for Primavera. Another part of its production was sold in the United States.
