Designed by Pierre Paulin in 1973. The model F598 of Artifort, also known as the ‘Groovy’ or ‘M chair’ following its characteristic shape. This nice cute chair has been reupholstered in beautiful high quality bouclé, which has a soft beige/ cream color. These neutral tones, texture and soft shapes which will fit into any space and with their high comfort this iconic design chair has become a must-have for any design lover. It has become a true collectors item over the years and is popular from the moment it was first designed to nowadays! Born in Paris in 1927, French designer Pierre Paulin studied stone carving and clay modeling at the École Camondo in Paris in the early 1950s. He is perhaps best known for his collaboration with Artifort, which began in 1958 and lasted approximately half a century. This relationship resulted in several iconic pieces, including his famed Mushroom Chair (1959), Ribbon Chair (1966), and Tongue Chair (1968).
