Orange coffee table Habitat model kilo n° 1709. Small square coffee table, with orange epoxy lacquered steel top and black lacquered wooden legs. With a minimalist and refined design, light but stable, it can be dismantled by simply unscrewing and sliding the legs into the top. Published exclusively by the Habitat brand, designed by designers Elling Ekornes and Trine Haddal Hovet, this table was available in several colors (yellow, white, black, blue, etc.) and it was available in various models that made up the "kilo" range (square high table, rectangular coffee table, nesting tables and console table with intermediate shelf). The disappearance of the Habitat brand in 2023 put an end to its production. This model is rare since it is one of the first models put on sale, the orange color having not been available for several years, and the black lacquered legs having been replaced by oiled oak legs. In its original condition: good shine of the metal top and presence of small lighter spots appearing under the paint, and some traces of wear of the varnish of the feet.
