6 KOHN bistro chairs N°248-a- wooden seats - 1912, original condition -

This set is ready for everyday use. Set of 6 Kohn chairs n° 248a, thermoformed wooden seat n° XXI. Model produced from 1902 to 1914. It was re-produced by Thonet-Mundus in 1925 with a round seat. No. 248 is the bistro model with a 36x38cm seat, no. 248 a is the plush version with a 41x42 cm seat. A variation of the 248a model exists depending on the production factory, or the years: Some models have front legs whose diameter increases at the tangent locations and a hollow wave at the top of the backrest; other 248a have straight front legs and the top of the back almost straight - see photo of the two models together - Stamp (Wsetin factory) and label under each seat. The seats are original like the whole lot which is in its fully preserved bistro patina. Dimensions: 91 cm, seat: 40x42 cm; seat height: 47 cm. More photos and information on request.
