Rare old cotton pots Limoges France

Superb set of 2 old cotton pots from the 50s, decorated with hollyhocks, Limoges France. The 2 lids are decorated with golden cabochons which contribute to the elegance of this set. No loss and no shine, a set in perfect condition for its age. What may appear to be a mini crack on the internal edge of each lid is in fact original, the completion of the work of the ceramic artist who covered with a line of white paint this particularity which gives these objects their authentic character. Dimensions are given for the largest pot. The small one has a height of 13 cm and a diameter of 7.
