The Swan Sofa™ was designed by Danish designer Arne Jacobsen in 1958 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen (now Radisson Blu Royal Hotel) for the suites, lounges and the panoramic restaurant. Produced from 1964 to 1974, it was reintroduced to the Fritz Hansen collection in 2000. The three-dimensional shape of the characteristic swan sofa design contains no straight lines - it is based on curves, making it organic and soft on the eye. It combines remarkable simplicity, elegance and strong architectural appeal. A true design icon, it enhances any interior and combines easily with all styles.
