Round in shape, this table imitates the trunk of a tree with representation of the bark and veins of the wood, which is quite characteristic of the rocaille style. In the nineteenth century, italian masons who came to settle in provence imported the technique of rockery, called false wood. Imitating nature, this naive art, very fashionable in provençal houses late nineteenth, a little forgotten, is put back in the spotlight. This piece of character will find its place both indoors and outdoors.
