Discover this magnificent rare engraving featuring the cardinal bird ⭐ this plate, more than 180 years old, a document steeped in history, was published in paris in 1838 in a natural history encyclopedia. ⭐ the work, colored at the time by hand with the greatest care, combines the beauty of nature with a scientific quality ⭐ this lithograph measuring 18 X 28.5 cm is highlighted by a paper cream color and an extremely detailed print thanks to the steel etching process. ⭐ this illustration is a superb zoological and botanical piece right down to its colors and details ⭐ it is taken from a work by fe guerin-meneville. ⭐ the engraving is in good condition, note that the left margin has an imperfection (hole) from the original binding and a sort of slight fold in the paper.
