Hallmarks: on the face of the base: parrot head discharge hallmark for small silver items indicted on march 8, 1786, re-punched in the paris census between 1798 and 1809, re-punched with a crab punch for small silver items in 1838 on the handles of the base: crab hallmark of 1838 on each reverse of the base: jurande hallmark letter date p for paris 1788 by henri clavel II and jean-françois kalendrin, charge hallmark for large crowned works, illegible goldsmith hallmark...container: crab hallmark from 1838 for small items repeated in many places. The glass container is missing. A retaining bolt is missing under the container. Engraving of 2 intertwined ls reminiscent of the initials of king leopold of belgium.
