Sheaf of wheat coffee table Goosens, Coco Chanel

Iconic vintage sheaf of wheat coffee table. This table is often called 'Coco Chanel table', named after fashion icon Gabrielle Chanel. Her good friend the french juwelery designer Robert Goosens designed, besides more other items, this table in the 60s for in her famous appartment in paris on the rue Cambon. The table is still there to this day. Just like chanel this table became a true icon, but then of interior design. Amongst others, Hans Kögl was inspired by it when designing his chandeliers. This table is in beautiful original condition with the original paint which now has a beautiful patina. The glass table top is smoked glass. Diameter glass 80 cm, hight table 49 cm.
