Original scandinavian armchair Stefan, restored, 1960s icon, pink
Description
The armchair commonly known as stefan was designed and manufactured in the second half of the 1960s in the swarzędz furniture factory as a showpiece piece of furniture of the then communist authorities. It was mainly intended for export. The style is very much in line with the scandinavian armchairs, which probably contributed to his great success. Nowadays, this armchair is a rarity, and the prices of well-preserved copies are rising very quickly. The chair has undergone a thorough renovation. The wood was carefully sanded and recoated with an ecological teak stain with a satin finish. The cushions have been reassembled from foam with reinforced kneading strength. The fabric used is highly resistant to dirt, and once this happens, it can be removed and washed with zippers.
