Kandem workshop table lamp model 745 with small shade

Kandem workshop table lamp model 745 with small round shade. This table lamp was produced between 1930-1939 by körting & mathiesen in leipzig. The german lamp manufacturer kandem was founded in 1889 in leipzig. This lamp is beautifully designed with the right proportions. We have dismantled this lamp, restored it, polished it and provided it with a layer of clear lacquer. We then provided this lamp with a new earthed twisted 180 cm fabric cord and plug. Normally these lamps were mounted on the wall or on a machine in a workshop. We have mounted it on a matching metal base. The bakelite fitting is original with a rotary switch in the shade. The kandem logo is also on the back of the shade. A beautiful bauhaus classic, perfect for use as a desk lamp, mood lamp, table lamp or night lamp! H 50 / w 36 / d 14.
