Arne Jacobsen Egg Chair with Tilt Function

Rarely offered Egg Chair with footstool, Model 3316 / Model 3317. Old Edition with return mechanism / tilt function. Padded with high-quality Arne Sörensen leather in elephant gray. The surface of the leather has a beautiful look / feel and patina. The chair is including the orignal associated footstool. Design by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 for the SAS Hotel Royal, Copenhagen. Manufacture by Fritz Hansen Denmark in 1960s / 1970s. Note: The return mechanism / tilt function works in such a way that the armchair moves in when it is inserted into it. This feature can be disabled by detecting with a hex key. Very good condition. No damages. Ready to use.
