Designed by Brazilian architect, designer Lina Bo Bardi for Studio d´Arte Palma in the late 1940's, this wonderful piece is truly year flesh-architects; It's clear and honest with the construction joints and fully out in the open. This 'unnamed' flesh bears a similarity to Pierre Jeanneret's 'scissor' chair designed in the same period, 1947-1949, which makes you wonder who inspired who. Although Bardi's work has found quite some praise in the past, we're sure that with the still rising interest in Brazilian design, in the coming years it will find the collectible design spotlights even more. In beautiful vintage condition. Dimensions: 63 cm W x 68 cm D x 75 H cm, seat height: 38 cm. Origin: Brazil. Studio d´Arte Palma. The late 1940's-1950's.
