Lithograph after Jeanne Pons (1913-2005). The work is signed in pencil J.Pons and dated 1947 at the bottom right. It is numbered 45/60 at the bottom left and entitled "batouque". The lithograph is framed under glass... Dimensions of the lithograph: 80 X 56 cm. Dimensions with frame: 86 x 62 cm. Jean Pons was born on March 30, 1913 in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. He trained at the Estienne school in Paris. His lithography workshop was frequented by the great names of 20th century art and he appreciated the friendship of Nicolas de Staël, Lanskoy, Poliakoff, Serge Charchoune, Delaunay, Kandinsky. He lived and worked in Paris. Jean Pons died on April 16, 2005 in Eygalières.
