A beautiful antique french perfume pot that was used to dispense perfume into smaller bottles in a pharmacy, although today it has many uses. It is large and originally served as a cologne dispenser bottle. It has a glass lid with a brass handle on top, a cork stopper and a glass dispensing tap on the bottom. This bottle has many possibilities of use, for example in a bathroom to store another type of liquid or cotton wool, as a simple decoration in the house or at a point of sale, or simply to place small battery-powered lamps to illuminate this magnificent bottle. In the 1920s, when cologne was sold in pharmacies, it was stored in these large bottles, now antique, which filled smaller bottles or flasks. There were a certain number of them and we chose the perfume or brand, then we distributed it in the desired quantity. This pot in cologne has a great history and the way it has survived in its current state is incredible. This large antique french glass storage jar can be used in a multitude of ways and will make a great addition to any home, cafe, restaurant or bar and will be a real conversation starter. It's an antique, but other than the original sticker you'd never know it's in such good condition. It is also very rare to find these cologne jars with the original cap and working spigot. Condition: this is a vintage product, but other than the original sticker it is in very good condition. Note: brooch is not included.
