Danish mid-century wall unit with bar cabinet or a secretaire in the style of Poul Cadovius, 1960s

Danish wall unit with a bar cabinet or a hidden desk manufactured in teak in the 1960s. It is closely related to famous poul cadovius and preben sorensen projects from the same period (the works of both designers features similar mounting system and carpentry). This vintage wall unit in teak features a functional drop door cabinet with practical laptop and documents space and four shelves supported by brass hangers and mounted on solid wood rails. The unit consists of: Secretary with lockable drop-down doors. The key included – h: 40 / w: 70 / d: 31 cm (fully open – 64 cm deep) 4 shelves – w: 70 / d: 20 cm. 4 wooden rails: 100 cm long. Brass hangers. This shelving system is modular. Since all elements are 70 cm wide they can be arranged upon one's will. The wall unit has been checked by our team. We have examined that the door mechanism works properly and all parts fit together. Teh set has been renovated. We have slightly restored the wood surface and applied an additional layer of danish oil to nourish and enhance the wood grain. We leave minor, natural signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm its originality. We try to bring it back to its best look, still considering it is over 60 years old.
