Description
Imposing bust of hermes, the messenger of god, in venetian stuco (lime - plaster), waxed, copy of an element of the sculpture of praxiteles, discovered in 1877, and dating from 343 before jesus christ. Preserved in its origin of realization at the beginning of the 20th century, it carries with its moving face, which looks at a child in his arms to whom he gives a bunch of grapes. Very beautiful patina of an old room. Origin: galleria romanelli in florence (italy).
