Ax display case library late 18th

Late 18th century showcase bookcase signed by Jean Francois HACHE. Jean-François is the most famous of the HACHE dynasty and was the private cabinetmaker of Duke Louis-Philippe of Orléans. This bookcase is straight in shape, with modern lines for an 18th century piece of furniture. It is made of natural wood and black lacquered. The upper part (showcase) is recessed and can be separated from the lower part. it is overlooked by a cornice with a gendarme's hat. The bottom of the window is covered with wallpaper, which will be removed during the sale.
