Pair of chairs by the architect prof. Adolf gustav schnek for schäfer, year 1934 (date engraved below the seat). Origin: tübinger, germany. In solid beech. Very elegant fastening system with tenons of a darker color that contrasts with the beech of the seat (no screws or nails). Solid and stable. A design that is both minimalist and slightly brutalist. Very good general condition, nice patina. One of the chairs has some scratches on the seat (see photos). Dimensions of a chair: seat h 48, back h 85, seat width 41, seat depth 42.5cm.
